Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates The spotlight turned to Viya properties following a standout performance in the Golf World Top 100 MENA Rankings for 2026, reinforcing the group’s position as a leader across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

At the top of the ranking, Yas Links Abu Dhabi has once again secured the #1 position, retaining its status as the highest ranked golf course in the Middle East and North Africa. A regular host venue of the Abu Dhabi Championship on the DP World Tour, Yas Links has earned consistent praise from many of the world’s leading players. This continued recognition confirms its status as the region’s benchmark course and a proven championship stage on the global golf calendar.

Maintaining a strong presence among the region’s elite, Emirates Golf Club Majlis ranked #3 overall, continuing its long-standing reputation as one of the Middle East’s most iconic and consistently high performing championship venues. The club has recently delivered another highly successful edition of the Dubai Desert Classic.

It was followed closely by Jumeirah Golf Estates, with the Earth Course holding a strong position at #7, underlining its status as a regular fixture within the Top 10 and a key venue on the DP World Tour calendar as host of the season ending DP World Tour Championship.

Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club also delivered a strong performance in the 2026 rankings, moving up three positions to secure eighth place overall. The course recently hosted the Dubai Invitational on the DP World Tour and continues to be recognised as one of Dubai’s most established championship venues. Set alongside Park Hyatt Dubai - widely regarded as one of the Middle East’s leading luxury resorts - Dubai Creek stands out for its iconic waterside setting, mature layout and comprehensive practice facilities.

Together, these elements reinforce its position as a cornerstone of Dubai’s golf landscape and a consistent presence among the region’s leading courses.

Completing Viya’s Top 10 representation, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club ranked #10 overall, reaffirming its reputation as one of the region’s most visually striking coastal courses and a key pillar of Abu Dhabi’s golf offering.

The 2026 list also highlights notable upward movement across Viya’s portfolio, with Yas Acres Golf & Country Club recording a significant rise in the rankings, climbing seven places from 53rd to 46th. The progression reflects the continued investment in both course presentation and long-term positioning within a competitive regional landscape.

Alongside the world-class nine-hole layout, revered for its strategic design, and the superb agronomic standards, the core component of Yas Acres’ evolution has been the development of its Academy infrastructure. With a full-length practice range, dedicated short-game areas and structured coaching facilities, the venue has strengthened its role as a performance-led environment focused on player development and technical progression, reinforcing its position within Abu Dhabi’s broader golf ecosystem.

Christopher May, Chief Executive Officer of Viya, commented: “We are extremely pleased to see Yas Links continuing to perform so strongly, both in terms of commercial results and its position at the very top of international rankings. Retaining the #1 position is a clear reflection of the quality, consistency and overall experience being delivered. It is equally encouraging to see positive momentum across the wider portfolio, with Dubai Creek and Yas Acres both recording significant upward movement. These results are a testament to the outstanding work being delivered by our teams across the clubs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.”
